Aluminum creates a softer putter head than stainless steel. The center shafted orientation helps keep the club face square at impact and throughout the pendulum of the stroke. It also helps transfer energy directly from the shaft to the center of the club face, and in turn to the center of the ball. The variable length grooves assist in controlling the energy transferred into the ball, helping off-center strikes maintain the correct direction and distance. The insanely large alignment lines do exactly what you’d expect: they make lining the putt up easy. Oh, and yes, you can pick the ball up using the putter head. That was an important detail.
Designed with zero torque characteristics and a high moment of inertia, Fangs II is built to resist twisting and promote a stable, repeatable roll. The head is also reversible, making it playable righty or lefty.
The putter is customizable and ordered to a specific shaft length between 30” and 37”. Grip selection is fulfilled to request and can accommodate almost any standard putter grip on the market. The price will vary depending on the grip used.
To be transparent: I have a machine shop manufacture my design and anodize the club heads for me. I source shafts, headcovers, and grips from distributors and manufacturers. I paint fill the alignment lines, cut the shaft to length, epoxy bond the putter head and shaft together, and install the grip of your choice before shipping it to you.
Additional customization is available upon request for an additional cost. Please feel free to reach out.
I can’t tell you how much it has improved when putting. Night and day. My putting has dialed in with my putter by making the ball track straight. Maybe I’m crazy, but my missed putts are barely missed and easy tap ins. It seems like my lags are closer just because of the feel. I really do love it.
I think as I stand over it, it’s more of a natural alignment. It just seems to track better and feels more natural. So weird, I’m not fighting it. Seriously four or five strokes a round. Those simple putts seem more simple.
